International Relations Office – Staff

The UBU Office of International Relations (IR) aims to support the missions of the university. The 4 missions are 1) to produce graduates with quality standards towards academic and professional excellence, 2) to produce knowledge and innovations that are beneficial towards people’s quality of life in the North-East and Greater Mekong Region, 3) to engage in academic studies that will further serve the communities in the Northeast and Greater Mekong Region, and 4) to conserve the arts, culture, local wisdom, and traditions while also creating an understanding of the various cultures of the Greater Mekong Region.

The office achieves this by facilitating communication between the university and individuals and agencies outside of Thailand. The main focus is on contacts with universities in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS), such as the National University of Laos and the Danang University in Vietnam. Links also exist with institutions in other parts of Asia, United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
