UBU Engineering Student was Awarded Excellence Academic Royal Award with GPA 3.99 for the year 2020


Ubon Ratchathani University congratulated Mr. Chinnawat Witchalin, UBU 4th year Civil Engineering student, as the UBU representative to receive the Royal Award for the year 2020. Mr. Chinnawat Witchalin, who had the highest GPA at 3.99 and was ranked first by the faculty in the academic year 2020, was certified by the Scholarship Administrative Committees of The Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The King’s Patronage (EIT) to receive the Royal Award in 2020 at the ceremony. The Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The King’s Patronage (EIT), will provide a schedule in the future. 

 

Funding was provided by the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The King’s Patronage (EIT) whose policy is to give an Academic Excellence Award for 4th year engineering students in the country who have the highest grades. UBU had nominated Mr. Chinnawat Witchalin for the Academic Excellence Royal Award in 2020.   

 

Mr. Chinnawat Witchalin said that he and his family were very grateful, delighted and proud of this award. He would like to thank the committees and UBU lecturers for their support. Upon graduation, he seeks to apply his working knowledge for societal and national progress. His advice for academic excellence involves the standard procedures: paying close attention in class, learning and reviewing lessons, asking lecturers to clarify ambiguities, along with time to relax and exercise for good physical and mental health, including participation in faculty experiences outside the classroom.
