Nature Index, a database of academic publications, has published rankings of organizations and research institutes with outstanding publication in chemistry for 2020. UBU is proud to announce that UBU placed 4th place in Thailand for published research papers.
Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President, said that the Nature Index ranks academic performance based on research databases of high-quality journals. It is internationally recognized and monitors 82 research journals. UBU’s lecturers, staff members and students, having submitted research papers to peer-reviewed journals, enhance academic achievement and reflect the quality of education at UBU in order to accomplish its mission as “A Leading University in ASEAN Focusing on Transforming Life Quality and Innovations”.
Associate Professor Pornpan Pungpo, Head of the Department of Chemistry, the Faculty of Science at UBU, said that UBU offers quality chemistry courses at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, as well as a Bachelor of Education Program in Chemistry. Those who graduate from these programs can work in both the field of science and education as researchers, chemical engineers, police forensics, product developers, teachers, as well as being entrepreneurs highly trained in science and chemistry.
UBU offers high-value lectures and is nationally and internationally recognized for its academic and research capabilities. Research was conducted through the integration of various fields by way of strong cooperative networks. In addition, UBU offers high quality courses and encourages research and new development in order to strengthen student potential and create high quality graduates who enhance the development of research and innovation with a significant impact at an international level.
