UBU took Indonesian student teachers to Lukhamhan Warinchamrap School for their teaching practicums


On 8 August 2019, the Office of International Relations led by Mrs. Patcharin Jongjai, Head,  together with Ms. Kanjana Manomai, IR officer, brought 11 students who were from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Bali, Indonesia to report to Lukhamhan Warinchamrap school for their first day of their teaching practicum. On this occasion, the director of the school, administrative board members, and the head of the departments gave a very warm welcome to the representatives of UBU and the Indonesian students. The school provided guidelines about the practicum program and introduced each department that the students will be working in.  Moreover, the participants from UBU and the Indonesian student teachers were invited to attend the ASEAN DAY event where they were introduced to all of Lukhamhan Warinchamrap School’s students at the school’s hall.

The students began their practicum on 8 August 2019 and will end on 2 September 2019. Their teaching subject areas are Computer, Economy, Science, and Mathematics. The students’ names, majors, and subject areas are as follows:

The students mentioned above represent the second group of students from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha to complete a teaching practicum at Lukhamhan Warinchamrap School. In 2018, they initially sent 4 students to complete their practicum at this school and was warmly welcomed and provided generous hospitality from both the teachers and the students. UBU is deeply grateful for the cooperation and contribution of Lukhamhan Warinchamrap School for being a host school for the practicum students.

 

UBU is also very pleased to create more collaborative activities with interested schools, especially if it pertains to students’ English proficiency development and cross-cultural awareness. UBU proudly aims to serve the local communities surrounding our university.
